An AI SDR is software that does the job of a sales development representative: it finds the people to contact, writes and sends the outreach, answers the replies and books the meeting on a seller's calendar. The best AI SDR tool depends on how much of that job you want to hand over. For all of it on email and LinkedIn, with a price you can read before a sales call, Reply.io's Jason AI or AiSDR. For a larger team that buys on a demo, 11x or Artisan. For inbound leads, Qualified. To approve every message yourself, Gojiberry, Valley or Amplemarket.
The label is loose, so check the jobs, not the name. In June 2025, Gartner warned about "agent washing", vendors rebranding chatbots and automation as AI agents, and estimated that only about 130 of the thousands of vendors selling agentic AI offer the real thing. So each tool below is scored only on what its own site says it does, on pages opened on November 3, 2026.
Full disclosure: I build Sendable, one of the nine. It does not do the whole job, it ranks ninth, and its entry says which part of the job it does and which it leaves to you. Every Sendable feature below was checked in its code, not in its marketing.
My verdict: buy an AI SDR for the jobs you can check, not for the label. If your bottleneck is volume and you are fine with AI answering prospects, the four tools that do all five jobs give you the most per dollar. If your bottleneck is knowing who to contact, and you want to keep your own voice, a tool that finds and qualifies but lets you write costs less and risks less.
What is an AI SDR?
An AI SDR (AI sales development representative) is an AI agent that runs the top of the sales funnel: prospecting, outreach, follow-up, reply handling and meeting booking, the work a human SDR does before an account executive takes over. Vendors also call it an AI BDR, an AI sales agent or a "digital worker"; the names describe the same idea with different scopes.
The job splits into five parts, and they are the five points each tool is scored on:
- Find and qualify the people. From a contact database, buying signals or web research, with lead qualification against your ideal customer.
- Write the messages. One message per person, from what the AI found about them.
- Send on more than one channel. Email and LinkedIn in one sequence, sometimes calls, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Answer the replies. Read each reply, answer questions and objections, continue or stop.
- Book the meeting. Offer times and put the meeting on a seller's calendar.
Three kinds of tools sell under the name. Autonomous AI SDRs run all five jobs and let you add approvals: Reply.io's Jason AI, AiSDR, 11x and Artisan. Copilots find and write, then a person sends the replies and books: Gojiberry, Valley and Amplemarket. Inbound AI SDRs work the people who come to you, website visitors and form fills: Qualified. A fourth kind rarely appears on these lists: tools that do one part of the job well, like deciding who to contact. Sendable is one of them.
The best AI SDR tools at a glance
Prices checked on November 3, 2026, in US dollars, on the cheapest plan that has every point counted. Sendable bills in euros: at the European Central Bank rate of November 3, 2026 (1 EUR = 1.1179 USD), €59 is about $66.
| # | Tool | Kind | Best for | Entry price | Score | One limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Reply.io (Jason AI) | Autonomous | The whole loop on email and LinkedIn, at a published price | From $500 a month, billed annually | 5 of 5 | Annual billing, started through sales |
| 2 | AiSDR | Autonomous | Paying per person reached, with no monthly fee | $1.50 per person prospected | 5 of 5 | The bill grows with every person |
| 3 | 11x (Alice) | Autonomous | Large teams that want outbound, inbound and voice agents | Quote only | 5 of 5 | No public price or plan |
| 4 | Artisan (Ava) | Autonomous | Email-led outbound where your reps make the calls | Quote only | 5 of 5 | Ava does not call |
| 5 | Qualified (Piper) | Inbound | Website visitors and inbound leads | Quote only | 4: finds no one new | Inbound only |
| 6 | Gojiberry | Copilot | Signals and lookalikes on LinkedIn and email for $99 | $99 a month, 2 AI agents | 3: drafts replies only | Your team takes over at the reply |
| 7 | Valley | Copilot | LinkedIn-first outreach written in your voice | $299 a seat (Plus, with email) | 3: no AI replies | Email is an add-on on the $199 plan |
| 8 | Amplemarket (Duo) | Copilot | Reps who want a copilot, a database and a dialer in one tool | $600 a month, annual term, 2 users | 3: drafts replies only | Reply drafts start on the Elite plan |
| 9 | Sendable | Signal finder | LinkedIn buying signals qualified by AI, messages you write | €59 per LinkedIn account (about $66) | 1: finds and qualifies only | LinkedIn only, no AI writing |
The score counts the jobs each vendor's own site says its tool does. It says nothing about message quality, reply rates or meetings that actually happen, which nobody can measure from outside.
AI SDR comparison: which of the five jobs each tool does
| Tool | Finds the people | Writes with AI | Two channels or more | Answers replies | Books the meeting |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reply.io (Jason AI) | Yes: 1+ billion contacts, intent signals | Yes | Email, LinkedIn, call tasks for your reps | Yes, automatic or approval mode | Yes, on Google Calendar |
| AiSDR | Yes: profiles and live signals | Yes | Email, LinkedIn, AI call steps | Yes, or co-pilot mode | Yes, through Calendly or HubSpot |
| 11x (Alice) | Yes: database and live web search | Yes | Email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, social | Yes, Smart Replies | Yes |
| Artisan (Ava) | Yes: 250M+ contacts | Yes | Email and social; reps make the calls | Yes | Yes, on your calendar |
| Qualified (Piper) | No: inbound only | Yes | Website chat, voice, video, email | Yes | Yes |
| Gojiberry | Yes: signals and lookalikes | Yes | Email and LinkedIn | Drafts only | No, your team takes over |
| Valley | Yes: signals and ICP scoring | Yes, "in your voice" | LinkedIn; email on Plus | Not documented | Only as a done-for-you service |
| Amplemarket (Duo) | Yes: Duo Copilot's daily picks | Yes, Duo Copywriter | Email, calls, social steps | Drafts only, on Elite | Not documented |
| Sendable | Yes: 14 LinkedIn signals, plus CSV | No, you write templates | LinkedIn only | No, it flags interested replies | No |
Finding the people is the job every outbound tool covers; answering the replies is the job that splits them. Five tools let AI answer your prospects on its own, Gojiberry and Amplemarket draft and wait for a person, Valley does not say, and Sendable leaves the conversation to you entirely.
How were these tools scored?
A tool made the list if it is sold as an AI SDR, AI BDR or AI sales agent, or appears on the roundups Google ranks for the query, and it does at least one of the five jobs with AI. Sendable is on it because I build it and because people ask whether it is one.
Each job earns one point when the vendor's own site documents it, on its pricing page, a feature page or its FAQ, opened on November 3, 2026. Demo videos, reviews and claims about reply rates do not count, and I did not run campaigns with these tools for this page. Ties go to a tool that publishes its price, then to the lower published cost of a month in which 1,000 people are contacted; tools with no public price follow in alphabetical order.
1. Reply.io (Jason AI)
Reply.io is a sales engagement platform, and Jason AI is the AI SDR built on it. Jason "analyzes your value proposition and product to define your ideal customer profile", then finds matching people in a database of "1+ billion global contacts" or through AI web search, and tracks intent signals such as hiring, technology usage and competitor following. It writes each message from its own research, sends by email and on LinkedIn (invitations, messages, AI voice messages in your voice), and adds call steps with a script for your reps. Replies go out in "Automatic mode" or "Approval mode", and Jason "books meetings based on real-time availability" on Google Calendar, in 50+ languages.
Price (checked November 3, 2026): the AI SDR plan starts at $500 a month billed annually for 1,000 active contacts, then $800 for 2,000 and $1,000 for 3,000. An active contact is a person who gets a first email that month, with unlimited follow-ups. You start through the sales team.
Best for: teams that want the whole loop on email and LinkedIn, with a price they can read before the call.
Limits: the published price assumes a year, and the AI answers your prospects unless you keep approval mode on.
2. AiSDR
AiSDR owns the name: its own pages hold the first two organic results on Google for "ai sdr" in the United States. Its agent, Ami, "builds your campaign, runs it, and sharpens it as replies come in". It finds people among "2B+ profiles from LinkedIn and more" and live signals (job changes, new hires, funding), writes "AI-researched messaging for every contact", and runs email and LinkedIn (invitations, messages, InMails, voice notes) in one sequence, with AI call steps through the Aircall dialer. Its pricing page lists "AI reply classification and handling", replies "in 5-10 min or co-pilot mode", and calendar booking through Calendly and HubSpot.

Price (checked November 3, 2026): $1.50 per person prospected, charged daily, with no monthly fee; "Research, lists, and writing cost nothing extra". A thousand people cost $1,500. Team plans, for 1,000 or more people a month, are priced on volume with "Up to 40% lower price per contact", and a fully managed service costs $2,500 a month. You sign up without a card and pay when you launch.
Best for: testing the idea on a few hundred people without a contract.
Limits: at 1,000 people a month it costs three times Jason AI's entry plan, which is billed annually. InMails need a Sales Navigator account.
3. 11x (Alice)
11x sells "digital workers": Alice for outbound, Julian for inbound, and voice agents. Alice researches each account, writes the message and coordinates "Email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, social, chatbot" in one sequence. Its Smart Replies page says "an agent reads the reply, classifies the intent, and takes the right next step. Interested leads get a meeting booked." Calls go through a "consented outbound calling" feature.
Price (checked November 3, 2026): none published; every page leads to a demo.
Best for: larger revenue teams that want one vendor for outbound, inbound and voice.
Limits: no public price or plan, so you cannot compare it before a sales call.
4. Artisan (Ava)
Artisan calls Ava an "AI BDR". She searches "250M+ verified B2B contacts" enriched with hiring and funding signals, writes the sequences, runs email and social steps, and "reads every reply, handles objections, answers questions, and books qualified meetings directly on your calendar." She does not call: Artisan's FAQ says "Ava cannot legally make calls", so she builds a list for your reps to dial, and the dialer is an add-on per seat. You can "Approve before sending, lock tone and CTAs, set banned phrases"; most teams, Artisan says, start with approvals on.
Price (checked November 3, 2026): "Pricing scoped on your plan." Team covers about 2,500 leads contacted a month and Scale about 6,000, with Salesforce and HubSpot sync on every plan.
Best for: email-led outbound where your reps keep the phone.
Limits: no public price, and Artisan's pages name the second channel only as "social".
5. Qualified (Piper)
Qualified sells Piper, "the AI SDR Agent", for inbound pipeline. Piper talks to buyers on your website in text, voice or video, follows up inbound leads by email and books meetings, in several languages. It does not look for new people: it works the ones who already came to you.
Price (checked November 3, 2026): three plans, Premier, Enterprise and Ultimate, all "Contact us". Premier covers 1 SDR agent profile, 250,000 web sessions and 2,500 active email contacts a month; Enterprise adds MCP and API access and a Salesforce sandbox.
Best for: companies with real website traffic that lose inbound leads to slow follow-up.
Limits: inbound only, so you still need an outbound tool to reach the people who have not found you.
6. Gojiberry
Gojiberry sells an AI agent that "detects buying and social signals, matches prospects against your ICP, scores leads, and launches relevant LinkedIn and email outreach", with lookalikes of your best customers. Replies land in a unified inbox "already drafted". Its FAQ is plain about the rest: asked whether it books meetings, it says that when prospects reply, "your team can jump in and continue the conversation."
Price (checked November 3, 2026): Pro is $99 a month with "2 AI agents prospecting 24/7" and "Up to 1,800 prospects contacted/month", website visitor identification, email and phone enrichment, and CRM, API and MCP integrations. Free trial; a Custom plan covers larger teams.
Best for: founders who want signals, lookalikes and AI-written outreach on LinkedIn and email for the lowest published price among the tools that write with AI.
Limits: the AI stops at the reply. The tools that find leads the way Gojiberry does are compared on my Gojiberry AI alternatives page.
7. Valley
Valley is a LinkedIn-first AI SDR: "Every plan includes prospecting, qualification, research, and personalized LinkedIn outreach." It finds people from signals such as hiring, job changes, funding rounds, post engagers and profile viewers, scores them against your ideal customer, and writes "Messages written in your voice". You "Review, edit and approve drafts before they go out". Replies land in a unified inbox; Valley's pages do not say its AI answers them, and booked meetings are sold as a done-for-you service at $1,499 a month.

Price (checked November 3, 2026): Starter is $199 a seat a month for LinkedIn only, Plus $299 with 1,000 emails a month, Growth $499 with $300 of credits a month; Starter is $149 and Plus $249 billed quarterly. Credits pay for finding new people, finding emails and "upgraded message generation". The 7-day trial needs a payment method.
Best for: LinkedIn-led outreach where a person approves every message.
Limits: email is an add-on on Starter, and finding new people costs credits on top of the seat.
8. Amplemarket (Duo)
Amplemarket is a sales platform with a contact database, intent signals and an AI copilot, Duo. Duo Copilot picks the right people to contact every 24 hours from buying intent triggers, such as a past champion who changed jobs; Duo Copywriter writes "hyper-personal first-touches"; sequences mix email, calls and social steps. Duo Inbox drafts "replies for every prospect email" on the Elite plan. Nothing on its pricing page books meetings.
Price (checked November 3, 2026): Startup is $600 a month on an annual term with 2 users, AI intent signals, Duo Copilot and multichannel sequences; Growth and Elite are custom. "All plans include a free trial."
Best for: sales teams that want a copilot next to each rep, with data and a dialer in the same tool.
Limits: an annual term, reply drafts only on Elite, and a person still sends every answer.
9. Sendable
This is the product I am building. It ranks last because it is not an AI SDR, and I would rather say so than stretch the label.
Sendable does the first of the five jobs, finding and qualifying the people, then sends on one channel, LinkedIn, and leaves the writing, the answers and the booking to you. It finds people from 14 LinkedIn signals, among them job postings, people who started a new job in the last 90 days, reactions and comments on posts or pages you pick, a keyword tracker, event attendees, company followers and profile viewers, plus your own CSV. AI checks each person against the ideal customer you describe and writes one sentence on why they match or not; you approve leads automatically or review them first, and a reason you give for rejecting one is reused on the next profiles.

The people who fit enter a LinkedIn sequence you write: profile visit, invitation, messages with variables and A/B variants, voice notes, likes, a condition on acceptance, and withdrawal of invitations nobody accepted. It sends from Sendable's servers within the days, hours and daily limits you set. A reply stops the sequence and lands in one inbox, where AI flags the interested ones. What it does not do, job by job:
- No AI writing. You write the templates; Sendable fills in the variables.
- One channel. No email or calls. A step can look up an email or phone number with your own FullEnrich account, but Sendable does not send to it.
- No AI answers. You reply yourself. Through Sendable's MCP server, your own AI assistant can draft a reply that you review and send.
- No booking. Put your calendar link in your message.
Price (checked in the code, November 3, 2026): €59 per LinkedIn account a month (about $66), or €590 a year. Each account includes 500 credits a month, one per person the AI confirms as a match; rejected profiles cost nothing. A team runs up to 5 signals at once. The 7-day trial needs a card and charges nothing before it ends; it includes 20 credits, one LinkedIn account and 3 signals. Details on the Sendable pricing page.
Best for: founders and small teams who sell through LinkedIn, want buying signals to decide who gets contacted, and would rather write their own messages and answer their own replies.
Limits: LinkedIn only, no AI writing, no meeting booking. If you want AI to talk to your buyers, one of the eight tools above is the better fit.
If you want the whole job done, by people rather than an AI: Sendable also sells a Done for you plan, where its team builds your lead lists and runs your LinkedIn outreach while you take the meetings. It is sold on a strategy call, priced on the pricing page, and four clients describe their results on the case studies page.
