# Is LinkedIn Sales Navigator Worth It? Prices, Plans and Who It Pays Off For

> Sales Navigator costs $119.99 a month on Core and $159.99 on Advanced. What each plan adds over a free account and Premium, who earns it back, and when a signal tool like Sendable does the job without it.

## TL;DR

- Sales Navigator costs $119.99 a month on Core or $1,079.88 a year ($89.99 a month), and $159.99 a month on Advanced or $1,799.88 a year; Advanced Plus is quoted by LinkedIn's sales team (linkedin.com, November 3, 2026).
- It is worth it for B2B sellers who prospect on LinkedIn every week into a market they can describe in filters, and who work those leads by hand: 50+ search filters, saved searches with alerts, lead lists and 50 InMails a month.
- It is not worth it for occasional prospecting (Premium Business at $69.99 raises the search limit), for email addresses (it has none), or as a list source for automation: LinkedIn offers no export to CSV.
- Advanced adds Buyer Intent, TeamLink and team reporting for $720 a year more per seat, billed yearly; Buyer Intent only measures interest in your own company.
- Sendable does not need Sales Navigator: no signal requires it, only Profile viewers needs Premium, and a Premium or Sales Navigator account starts at 30 invitations a day instead of 20.

**Is Sales Navigator worth it?** Yes, if you prospect on LinkedIn every week, into a market you can describe in filters, and you work those leads yourself: the search filters, saved searches, alerts and 50 InMails a month earn back $119.99 quickly. No, if you prospect a few hours a month, if you need email addresses, or if you want it as a list source for an automation tool. LinkedIn's own [compare plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sales-solutions/compare-plans), updated September 27, 2026, prices Core at $119.99 a month and Advanced at $159.99, and describes them as tools to find leads and research buyers, with 50 InMails a month to reach them. Nothing on that page sends anything for you.

I am Thomas Bonfils, cofounder of Sendable, the LinkedIn prospecting tool at getsendable.io (not the Swift protocol of the same name). Sendable finds people from buying signals, checks each one against the ideal customer you describe and sends the LinkedIn sequence you wrote. Some of our customers pay for Sales Navigator next to it, so the second half of this guide answers whether they need to, from the product's code. Every LinkedIn price and feature below was checked on linkedin.com on November 3, 2026.

My verdict: **Sales Navigator is worth it for people who search and research by hand; it is a poor buy as a list source.** It has the most detailed people search LinkedIn sells to salespeople, and no way to export it. If what you need is a steady flow of people who just gave you a reason to write, start from the signal, and keep the license for the named accounts you work yourself.

## How much does Sales Navigator cost in November 2026?

Sales Navigator Core costs **$119.99 a month, or $1,079.88 a year** ($89.99 a month). Advanced costs **$159.99 a month, or $1,799.88 a year** ($149.99 a month). Advanced Plus has no public price: LinkedIn quotes it by team size, CRM and training needs. Prices are per license, before tax.

Plans from the [compare plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sales-solutions/compare-plans), checked on November 3, 2026, in US dollars:

| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing | Per month, billed yearly | Best for, in LinkedIn's words |
| ------------- | --------------- | -------------- | ------------------------ | -------------------------------- |
| Core | $119.99 | $1,079.88 | $89.99 | Individual sellers |
| Advanced | $159.99 | $1,799.88 | $149.99 | Sales teams |
| Advanced Plus | On request | On request | On request | Sales teams using integrated CRM |

Four details change the bill:

1. **Yearly billing saves 25% on Core but only 6% on Advanced**, LinkedIn's own figures. Billed yearly, Advanced costs **$720 a year more per seat** than Core; billed monthly, $480 a year more.
2. **Other currencies**: Core is €120.99 or £94.99 a month, Advanced €148.21 or £130.00. LinkedIn calls every figure an estimate that "may exclude Value-Added Tax (VAT), Goods & Services Tax (GST), and/or promotional discounts".
3. **Teams**: you can buy up to five Advanced licenses online, and a Full Admin assigns them; Advanced Plus is bought through LinkedIn's sales team.
4. **Free trial**: Core and Advanced have one, for members "not currently on any paid LinkedIn subscription (including Premium or Sales Navigator)" who have not used a LinkedIn free trial in the past 365 days. LinkedIn asks for a card and emails you seven days before the trial ends.

A note on stale numbers. Several pages that rank for this question still quote Core at $79.99 or $99.99 a month, or Advanced at $135. The figures above are the ones on LinkedIn's page on November 3, 2026.

## What does each Sales Navigator plan include?

Every plan has the **50+ advanced search filters**, AI summaries of leads and accounts (Account IQ and Lead IQ), alerts, Relationship Explorer and Relationship Map, Message Assist and **50 InMails a month**. Advanced adds **Buyer Intent**, **TeamLink**, Smart Links and team management. Advanced Plus adds **CRM sync** and lead creation in the CRM.

What LinkedIn's help center adds to the grid:

- **InMail**: the [InMail credits page](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a101030) says every plan gets 50 credits a month, unused credits carry over up to **150 in total** and must be used within 90 days, and an InMail answered within 90 days gives its credit back. You cannot buy more.
- **Saved searches**: "You can save a total of 50 lead searches and 50 account searches", per the [saved searches page](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102024). Each one sends a weekly email when new people or companies match it.
- **Alerts** only cover what you saved: "To receive alerts, you must save your leads and accounts."
- **Buyer Intent** is "available for Sales Navigator Advanced and Advanced Plus edition users only", according to its [FAQ](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a507435), and it is built from "180+ distinct insight signals".

Nothing on the compare page sends invitations or messages for you. Message Assist writes a draft; you press send, one message at a time.

## What does Sales Navigator add over a free account or Premium Business?

A free account runs into LinkedIn's **commercial use limit** on profile searches. **Premium Business**, at $69.99 a month, raises that limit and adds 15 InMails a month. Sales Navigator adds what prospecting needs on top: **50+ filters**, saved lead and account searches, lead lists, alerts on what you saved and 50 InMails.

LinkedIn's [commercial use limit page](https://www.linkedin.com/help/billing/answer/a564226) explains the free tier: "If you reach the commercial use limit for searching, your activity on LinkedIn indicates that you're likely using LinkedIn for commercial use, like hiring or prospecting." It does not say how many searches that is, the count resets on the first of each month, and LinkedIn "cannot lift the limit upon request". Premium Business, Recruiter Lite and Sales Navigator all raise it.

| What you get | Free account | Premium Business | Sales Navigator Core |

Premium Business prices come from its [own page](https://premium.linkedin.com/small-business/business), checked on November 3, 2026, which also lists "advanced search filters", business insights on companies and LinkedIn Learning.

So if all you need is more searches and a few InMails, Premium Business costs **$50 a month less** than Core. Core earns the difference when you live in saved searches, lists and alerts, or when InMail is a real channel for you: per credit, it costs about half of Premium Business.

## Who is Sales Navigator worth it for?

Sales Navigator is worth it for **B2B sellers who prospect on LinkedIn every week**, into a market they can describe with filters, with deals large enough that one extra deal a year covers $1,079.88. The more of the work you do by hand, account by account, the more of the license you use.

LinkedIn's compare plans page says the tool is "trusted by 1.5M+ sellers". It pays off for four kinds of buyers:

- **Founders and account executives selling to named accounts.** Saved account searches, Account IQ and the Relationship Map let you map a buying committee before the first message, which is the work Core is priced for.
- **Sales teams sharing a territory.** Advanced adds TeamLink, which shows who on your team knows someone at the account, plus Buyer Intent and team reporting. The extra $720 a year per seat pays when warm introductions close deals that cold messages do not.
- **Teams on Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics.** Advanced Plus keeps LinkedIn data in the CRM and adds leads to it without manual entry, which matters when reps would otherwise copy profiles by hand.
- **Sellers who reach people by InMail.** 50 credits a month, with a credit back for each answer within 90 days, cost about half as much per credit as Premium Business.

LinkedIn's own case rests on a study it paid for. "In 2023, LinkedIn commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a global Total Economic Impact™ study", and LinkedIn's [North America summary](https://business.linkedin.com/sales-solutions/cx/23/11/forrester-economic-impact-roi-report-namer) reports a **312% return on investment, a 6-month payback**, 30% revenue growth attributed to the tool and a 15% gain in sales team efficiency. One interviewed customer put it this way:

> "I would attribute at least 40% of our revenue growth to the use of the tool. It has helped us identify high-quality accounts, shorten the sales cycle, and ultimately close more deals."

Read those numbers for what they are: interviews with customers who kept paying, in a study LinkedIn commissioned. They show what the tool can do for a team that uses it daily, not what a license nobody opens returns.

## When is Sales Navigator not worth it?

Sales Navigator is not worth it when you prospect a few hours a month, when you need contact data, when you want a list to load into another tool, or when you expect it to tell you who is ready to buy. Each case has a cheaper or better fit.

1. **You prospect a few hours a month.** A free account covers it until the commercial use limit, which resets every month. If you hit it, Premium Business at $69.99 raises it for $50 less than Core.
2. **You need email addresses and phone numbers.** Nothing on the compare page finds contact data: the tool works through LinkedIn profiles and InMail. Teams that need email add a data provider next to it, such as the [LinkedIn prospecting software](https://getsendable.io/resources/linkedin-prospecting-software) that adds emails and phones to Sales Navigator.
3. **You want a list to load into an [automation tool](https://getsendable.io/resources/linkedin-automation-tools).** LinkedIn's [export page](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031) is plain: "LinkedIn currently doesn't offer the option to export account and lead information from Sales Navigator into a CSV or XLS file." The browser extensions that copy its search results do what LinkedIn's [User Agreement](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement) forbids in section 8.2: using "bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts". Paying $119.99 a month to scrape it puts the account that pays at risk.
4. **You expect it to find buyers in the market.** Buyer Intent, from Advanced up, measures interest in your own company: comments and reactions on posts, new connections to your colleagues, profile views, follows of your company page, clicks on your ads, answers to your team's InMails, and visits to your website when it carries LinkedIn's Insight tag. A company with a small LinkedIn audience sees little of it. Alerts, on every plan, only cover leads and accounts you already saved.
5. **Nobody will open it every week.** Saved searches and alerts only pay when someone reads them and acts. A license opened once a month costs $119.99 for a search a free account would have run.

If two or more of these describe you, skip the license for now, or test it on the trial before paying.

## Does Sendable need Sales Navigator?

No. Connecting a LinkedIn account to Sendable needs neither Premium nor Sales Navigator, **no signal needs Sales Navigator**, and only one signal, [Profile viewers](https://getsendable.io/linkedin-profile-viewers), needs LinkedIn Premium. The plan changes one setting: a Premium or Sales Navigator account starts at **30 invitations and 30 conversations a day**, a free account at 20.

I build Sendable, so weigh this section accordingly. Every fact below comes from the product's code and from the [LinkedIn accounts page](https://docs.getsendable.io/linkedin-accounts) of the help center.

When you connect an account, Sendable reads its LinkedIn plan and shows it on the **Senders** page: Free, Premium, Sales Navigator, or both. The plan sets the starting daily limits, which you can change:

| Daily limit | Free account | Premium or Sales Navigator | Notes |
| -------------- | ------------ | -------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| Invitations | 20 | 30 | Editable, warning above 30 |
| Conversations | 20 | 30 | Editable, warning above 30 |
| Profile visits | 20 | 20 | Same on every plan, 30 max |

Which signals need which LinkedIn account:

| What the signal needs | Signals |
| ----------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| No LinkedIn account | Job postings, Changed jobs, Active on LinkedIn, Post interactions, Keyword tracker, Influencer engagement, Company engagement, CSV import |
| Your own LinkedIn account, any plan | Poll voters, Profile followers, Newsletter subscribers, Company followers, 1st degree connections, Event attendees, People you may know |
| LinkedIn Premium | Profile viewers |
| Sales Navigator | None |

Two signals do the job many people buy Sales Navigator for. **Changed jobs** finds [people who started a new job in the last 90 days](https://getsendable.io/linkedin-job-change-alerts), and **Active on LinkedIn** people who posted in the last 30 days. Both search LinkedIn with your ideal customer filters every 7 days, with no LinkedIn account, reading up to 1,000 people per search. The other signals start from an action: a job posting for the role you serve, a comment on a post about your topic, a vote on a poll. The guide to [buying signals software](https://getsendable.io/resources/buying-signals-software) compares them with the other tools that track them.

Every person a signal finds is checked against your **ideal customer**: job title, seniority, company size, sector, location, keywords, profile language and time in the current position. Only the people who match become leads, and each one uses a credit. Those are the filters you would otherwise set in a Sales Navigator search.

![Ideal customer filters in Sendable: job titles, seniority, United States and Canada, software sector, 11 to 200 employees](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/auto-prospecting/ideal-customer-filters.webp)

If you already have a CSV file with Sales Navigator profile links, from your CRM for example, Sendable reads those links as LinkedIn profiles. A CSV imported straight into a campaign uses no credits; a CSV used as a signal spends one credit per row that matches your ideal customer. Each lead page also has an **Open in Sales Navigator** button when the lead has a Sales Navigator link.

What Sendable does not do, so you know where LinkedIn's tool still helps:

- **No InMail.** Campaign steps are profile visits, invitations, messages, voice messages, likes on the last post, invitation withdrawals and a step to find an email or phone with your own [FullEnrich](https://docs.getsendable.io/integrations/fullenrich) account. Your InMail credits stay yours for the accounts you work by hand.
- **No access to your saved searches or lead lists.** Sendable does not read them.
- **No account research.** Nothing like Account IQ, the Relationship Map or TeamLink.

## When does a signal tool replace Sales Navigator, and when do you need both?

A signal tool replaces Sales Navigator when your use of it comes down to "build a list from filters, then write to everyone on it". You need both when you also work named accounts by hand: researching the buying committee, asking a teammate for an introduction, sending InMails to people you cannot invite.

| What you use Sales Navigator for | In Sendable | Keep the license for it? |

| Know when people change jobs or post | Changed jobs (last 90 days), Active on LinkedIn (last 30 days), Keyword tracker | Only for leads you already saved |
| See who shows interest in your company | Profile viewers (needs Premium), Company followers, Post interactions on your posts | Partly: Buyer Intent adds ads and website visits |
| Reach people you are not connected to | An invitation with a note, then messages once accepted | Yes, if InMail is a real channel |
| Research accounts, map buying committees, warm intros | Not covered | Yes |
| Keep the CRM up to date | Sync with Attio and HubSpot | Advanced Plus, for Salesforce or Dynamics |
| Send the outreach | Invitations and messages on a schedule, within daily limits, stopped at the first reply | No: you send every message yourself |

Per seller, Core costs $119.99 a month and Sendable €59 per connected LinkedIn account, about $66 at the European Central Bank [rate of November 3, 2026](https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/policy_and_exchange_rates/euro_reference_exchange_rates/html/eurofxref-graph-usd.en.html) (1 EUR = 1.1179 USD). Both together come to about $186 a month. Sendable's plan includes 500 credits a month per account and is detailed on the [pricing page](https://getsendable.io/pricing).

Sending from LinkedIn on a schedule carries a risk that a search tool used by hand does not: LinkedIn's rules forbid automated invitations and messages. The guide on [whether LinkedIn automation is safe](https://getsendable.io/resources/is-linkedin-automation-safe) quotes those rules and the limits Sendable applies to every account.

## How do you test whether Sales Navigator pays off before you pay?

Use the free trial as a test with a pass mark, not as a tour. Write the pass mark before you start, run the same weekly routine you would run as a customer, and decide before LinkedIn's reminder email, seven days before the trial ends.

1. **Write your ideal customer as filters first**: titles, seniority, company size, sector, region. If you cannot, no tool will find the right people for you.
2. **Save three lead searches and one account list**, then count the new matches each week. That number is your pipeline from the tool.
3. **Send InMails to your 20 best-fit leads** and count the answers. Each answer within 90 days returns its credit.
4. **Log your hours.** The license gives back what you put in: if nobody can give it a couple of hours a week, the license will sit idle.
5. **Run a signal on the same ideal customer at the same time.** Compare who replies, not how many names each tool shows you. Sendable's trial lasts 7 days with 20 credits and 3 signals, and the [case studies](https://getsendable.io/case-studies) show how customers use it.

If your saved searches bring new people every week and your InMails get answers, keep the license. If the trial ends with a list you never worked, cancel it.

## Our verdict: is Sales Navigator worth it?

**Sales Navigator is worth it if you prospect on LinkedIn every week and work your leads by hand: Core, at $89.99 a month billed yearly, is the most detailed people search LinkedIn sells to salespeople.** Advanced earns its extra $720 a year per seat for teams that use TeamLink and Buyer Intent. It is not worth it for occasional searches, where Premium Business costs $50 less a month, for email addresses, which it does not have, or as a list source for automation, which LinkedIn does not allow.

If what you need is a steady flow of people who just showed a reason to talk, start from the signal. Sendable finds them on LinkedIn without Sales Navigator, checks each one against your ideal customer and sends the sequence you wrote, for €59 per LinkedIn account: see the [pricing page](https://getsendable.io/pricing) or start the 7-day trial. The full chain on one signal is built step by step in the [auto prospecting walkthrough](https://getsendable.io/resources/auto-prospecting).

## FAQ

### Is LinkedIn Sales Navigator worth it for a small business?

Yes, for one seller who prospects on LinkedIn every week: Core costs $89.99 a month billed yearly and needs one extra deal a year to pay for itself. No, if prospecting is occasional: a free account or Premium Business at $69.99 a month covers it. Small teams rarely need Advanced unless they rely on TeamLink.

### What is the difference between Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Premium?

Premium Business costs $69.99 a month, raises the search limit of a free account and gives 15 InMails a month. Sales Navigator Core costs $119.99 a month and adds 50+ search filters, 50 saved lead searches and 50 account searches, lead lists, alerts on saved leads and 50 InMails a month. Premium is for people who search sometimes; Sales Navigator is for people who prospect every week.

### Does Sales Navigator give you email addresses?

No. Nothing on LinkedIn's compare plans page finds email addresses or phone numbers: it works through LinkedIn profiles and InMail. LinkedIn also offers no export of leads to a CSV file, so teams that need email add a separate data provider.

### Is Sales Navigator Advanced worth it over Core?

Only for teams. Advanced adds Buyer Intent, TeamLink, Smart Links and team management, for $40 more a month on monthly billing or $720 more a year per seat on yearly billing. A single seller rarely uses TeamLink, and Buyer Intent only measures interest in your own company, so Core is enough for most individuals.

### Do you need Sales Navigator to automate LinkedIn outreach?

No. It sends nothing for you, and LinkedIn offers no export of its lists. A tool like Sendable connects your own LinkedIn account on any plan and finds the people itself; a Premium or Sales Navigator account only starts at 30 invitations a day instead of 20.
