# Clay Alternatives: 8 Tools for Finding and Contacting LinkedIn Prospects

> Clay builds and enriches the list, then hands it to another tool to send the LinkedIn message. Eight alternatives sorted by the Clay jobs they take over, with prices checked on each vendor's site on November 3, 2026.

## TL;DR

- Clay costs $185 a month on Launch (15,000 actions and 2,500 data credits) and $495 on Growth (40,000 actions and 6,000 data credits), 10% less billed yearly; the Free plan gives 500 actions and 100 data credits a month (pricing page, November 3, 2026).
- Clay searches, enriches and researches prospects with 150+ data providers and its AI agent Claygent, but it sends no LinkedIn invitation or message: its leads go to HeyReach or another sender.
- PhantomBuster, Gojiberry and Valley cover all five Clay prospecting jobs compared here, sending included; Lusha and Apollo are the contact databases; FullEnrich covers emails and phones alone.
- Sendable replaces three Clay jobs: finding people from 14 LinkedIn signals, qualifying each one by AI with a written reason, and contacting them in a sequence you write. It does not replace waterfall enrichment, web research, CRM enrichment or email.
- Stay with Clay if your team builds custom waterfalls, Claygent research and CRM enrichment: no tool on this list offers 150+ providers in one table with unlimited seats.

The **best Clay alternative** for LinkedIn prospecting depends on which Clay job you want to replace. To find prospects on LinkedIn and contact them from the same tool: PhantomBuster if you like building automations, Gojiberry or Valley if an AI agent should write the messages, Sendable if you write the sequence and want every lead qualified by AI with a reason. For a contact database, Lusha or Apollo. For emails and phones alone, FullEnrich. Stay with Clay if you run multi-provider waterfalls, Claygent research or CRM enrichment.

Full disclosure: I build Sendable, one of the eight tools below. It sits sixth, where the ranking rule stated before the list puts it, not first. Every price and feature comes from the vendor's own site, opened on November 3, 2026, and every Sendable feature was checked in its code.

My verdict: **Clay is a data workshop, not a LinkedIn outreach tool.** It builds, enriches and researches the list, then hands it to a sender such as HeyReach. So the useful question is not which tool copies Clay, but which half of that workflow you want to replace: the data half, the LinkedIn half, or both.

## What Clay does, and what it costs in November 2026

Clay is a data enrichment and workflow platform: a table where each row is a company or a person, and each column fetches data from a provider, an AI model or another tool. In its pricing announcement of [March 11, 2026](https://www.clay.com/blog/introducing-clays-new-pricing), it calls itself "an end-to-end GTM Engineering tool". For LinkedIn prospecting, it does five things:

1. **Search**: "Run unlimited search with Audiences", from the Launch plan, to start a table from companies or people.
2. **Enrichment**: "Find and enrich data from 150+ providers", with "multi-provider waterfalls" that try one provider after another until an email or a phone number comes back. Clay says a waterfall "lifts email coverage from roughly 30% with a single provider to around 80%".
3. **Claygent**: "Clay's AI agent with access to web research. Generate custom data points with AI", used to research or qualify each row.
4. **Signals**: from Launch, "signals on job change, promotions, new hires, company news, and social"; Growth adds web intent. Its [social signals page](https://www.clay.com/tools/track-social-signals) says it "monitors LinkedIn, Reddit, X, and YouTube for keyword matches".
5. **Routing**: email campaigns through "Clay's email sequencer or a sequencing integration", CRM sync from Growth, and "Send ad audiences to LinkedIn and Meta", also on Growth.

What it does not do is send a LinkedIn invitation or message. Its [HeyReach integration guide](https://university.clay.com/docs/heyreach-integration-overview) reads: "Within Clay, you can use HeyReach to add leads directly to your campaigns", and "Campaigns cannot be created from within Clay." **The sequence lives in a second tool**, with its own subscription.

Plans from [Clay's pricing page](https://www.clay.com/pricing), checked on November 3, 2026, in US dollars per month:

| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing | Actions a month | Data credits a month | What it adds |
| ---------- | --------------- | -------------- | --------------- | -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Free | $0 | $0 | 500 | 100 | Unlimited seats and tables, waterfalls, Claygent, 200 rows per table, no phone numbers |
| Launch | $185 | $167 | 15,000 | 2,500 | Phone numbers, Audiences search, job change and other signals, email sequencer |
| Growth | $495 | $446 | 40,000 | 6,000 | CRM sync, web intent signals, HTTP API, webhooks, ad audiences, priority support |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | SSO, role-based access, unlimited Audiences imports, a dedicated growth strategist |

It bills on two meters. In its own words, "Actions measure platform usage: enrichment & GTM execution" and "Data credits buy data & AI from vendors in Clay's marketplace." **The Launch price is two sliders added together**: 15,000 actions for $60 and 2,500 data credits for $125. Moving either one raises the bill; 6,000 data credits on Launch cost $290 instead of $125.

The rest of the rules, from the same page and its FAQ:

- Data credits "start at $0.05 each"; actions "start at less than $0.01 each".
- "If an enrichment returns no result, you're not charged Data Credits or Actions."
- Actions "reset each billing cycle and don't roll over". Unused data credits roll over up to twice the monthly amount on Launch and Growth.
- Extra credits between billing cycles cost "a 30% premium".
- Every plan has unlimited seats, and the Free plan needs no credit card. Launch and Growth start with a 14-day trial.

The pricing changed on March 11, 2026. The company cut the price of the data in its marketplace by 50 to 90% and the top-up premium "from 50% to 30%", moved CRM sync and web intent to the new $495 Growth plan, and let existing customers keep the old Starter, Explorer and Pro plans. It also warned that "Customers who predominantly use their own API keys or are on Pro plans may see a price increase." Pages that still quote $149 or $800 a month are quoting those legacy plans.

## Why do people look for a Clay alternative?

It has loyal users among growth and operations teams, and several of the pages that rank for this search, written by its competitors, concede that its waterfall and Claygent are hard to match. People leave it over four things, each documented by the company itself or by its reviewers.

1. **It sends nothing on LinkedIn.** Its own guide says campaigns "cannot be created from within Clay": the invitation and the follow-ups run in HeyReach, La Growth Machine or [another sender](https://getsendable.io/resources/linkedin-automation-tools). At HeyReach's $79 per sender a month, checked in our [HeyReach alternatives](https://getsendable.io/resources/heyreach-alternatives) comparison, **Launch plus one sender costs $264 a month** before the first message.
2. **Two meters to forecast.** The bill follows the rows you run and the enrichments on each row. On [Trustpilot](https://www.trustpilot.com/review/clay.com), a user wrote in October 2026 that "all my credits got burnt within 5 minutes". Another, on the Growth plan, wrote that "AI showed samples were working fine and after spending another $1500 to process all my data" the run did not follow the instructions, and that "customer service refused to reinstate my credits".
3. **A build surface with a learning curve.** The company says its goal is to be "your default tool for GTM Engineering". A reviewer wrote in September 2026: "Extremely difficult to use, not intuitive at all."
4. **CRM sync and web intent cost $495.** On Launch, there is no CRM sync, no HTTP API, no webhook signals and no web intent: those start on Growth.

It rates 2.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 27 reviews, 63% of them one star (read on November 3, 2026). The profile is not claimed by the company and the sample is small, and G2 refused automated access, so read reasons 2 and 3 as risks to test in a trial, not as verdicts.

## The 8 Clay alternatives at a glance

Prices checked on November 3, 2026, on monthly billing, in the vendor's currency. Sendable bills in euros: at the European Central Bank rate of November 3, 2026 (1 EUR = 1.1179 USD), €59 is about $66.

The first question to settle: do you want to keep a sender next to your data tool, as with Clay, or should one tool find the people and contact them? PhantomBuster, Gojiberry, Valley and Sendable do both; Lusha, Apollo, Hunter and FullEnrich give you the data and leave the sending to you.

## Which Clay jobs each alternative replaces

Five jobs make up a Clay workflow for LinkedIn prospecting. "Yes" means the vendor's own site documents the job on November 3, 2026, paid plans and add-ons included; "No" means its site does not document it.

**Three tools do all five jobs: PhantomBuster, Gojiberry and Valley.** Clay does four of them; the fifth, sending on LinkedIn, is the one it leaves to HeyReach or another sender. The table counts what each site documents, not how deep each job goes: no alternative here matches its 150+ providers in one waterfall.

## How I picked and ranked these tools

I read the eight pages that rank for "clay alternative" and for its LinkedIn version: Cognism's, Salesforge's, Bloomberry's, The GTM Directory's, Valley's, Gojiberry's, PhantomBuster's and FlowHunt's. Most are written by a vendor that lists itself first. Three conditions decided who is on this page:

- **It finds B2B prospects itself**: a contact database, a LinkedIn search or signals.
- **Its price is public on its own site**, checked on November 3, 2026.
- **At least four of the eight pages name it, or its vendor wrote one of the eight pages and it finds people from LinkedIn signals and contacts them there**, the job this page is about. Apollo (eight pages), Lusha (five), Hunter (four) and FullEnrich (four) qualify by the first route; PhantomBuster, Gojiberry and Valley by the second. Sendable is in because I build it.

Cognism (six pages) and ZoomInfo (four) publish no price, so they are [not ranked](#tools-on-other-lists-that-are-not-ranked-here).

The ranking is mechanical. A tool scores one point for each of the five jobs in the table above that its site documents. Inside a score, the public monthly price of the first paid plan for one user and one LinkedIn account breaks the tie. That gives PhantomBuster, Gojiberry and Valley 5 points, Lusha, Apollo and Sendable 4, Hunter 3 and FullEnrich 2.

This is one of nine alternatives pages built on the same method. [The comparison hub](https://getsendable.io/resources/linkedin-automation-alternatives) sets Clay next to the LinkedIn senders and signal tools the others cover, with who should leave each one and why.

## 1. PhantomBuster

![PhantomBuster pricing on November 3, 2026, monthly billing: Start at $69, Grow at $159 and Scale at $439 a month](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/phantombuster-pricing.webp)

[PhantomBuster](https://phantombuster.com/pricing) is a library of automations, called Phantoms, that extract and act on LinkedIn and "15+ platforms". It says it can "Segment and enrich lists with 1,000+ live data points, from job changes to profile activity", and that its "AI Phantoms can be used to clean data (e.g. job titles), or score and segment your leads." Its workflows chain Phantoms, for example "finding people who engaged with a LinkedIn post, collecting their profiles, and exporting them to your CRM". Then it can "trigger outreach flows including DMs, connection requests, likes, or event invites". Every plan lists Sales Navigator automation, email enrichment, AI filtering and writing, and several connected accounts.

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** Start at $69 a month (5 automations at a time, 20 hours of execution time, 500 email credits, 10,000 AI credits), Grow at $159 (15 automations, 80 hours) and Scale at $439 (50 automations, 300 hours), or 20% less billed yearly. Users are unlimited. The 14-day free trial needs no credit card and limits exports to 10 rows.

**Best for:** someone who already thinks in Clay tables and wants the same building logic, on live LinkedIn data, with sending included.

**Limits:** you pay in automations and hours of execution, so the capacity depends on how you chain Phantoms; it sells no database ("PhantomBuster does not sell, resell, or provide pre-built databases"), and you build each workflow yourself. More on the [PhantomBuster alternatives](https://getsendable.io/resources/phantombuster-alternatives) page.

## 2. Gojiberry

![Gojiberry pricing on November 3, 2026: one Pro plan at $99 a month, email and social outreach](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/gojiberry-pricing.webp)

[Gojiberry](https://gojiberry.ai/) sells an AI sales agent rather than a table. The agent "detects buying & social signals, scores every prospect against your ideal customer", among them competitor engagement, people who follow your company and people active in your space, plus lookalikes of your best customers and website visitors. It then writes and sends LinkedIn messages and emails, visits profiles and sends connection requests, in full auto or after your approval ("Full auto or approve before it sends"). The Pro plan adds a unified inbox and email and phone waterfall enrichment across "15+ data providers".

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** Pro at $99 a month with 2 AI agents, 2 LinkedIn accounts, up to 1,800 prospects contacted a month and 200 credits. Its [help center](https://help.gojiberry.ai/en/articles/12960396-gojiberry-pricing-explained) lists $59 a month for each extra AI Outreach Agent, which adds one LinkedIn sender. A free trial is offered; its length is not stated.

**Best for:** one or two people who want the agent to find, write and send on LinkedIn and email, without building anything.

**Limits:** you do not build the sequence or write the messages yourself, and there is no table to add your own columns. More on the [Gojiberry alternatives](https://getsendable.io/resources/gojiberry-alternatives) page.

## 3. Valley

![Valley pricing on November 3, 2026: Starter at $199, Plus at $299 and Growth at $499 per seat a month](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/valley-pricing.webp)

[Valley](https://www.joinvalley.co/pricing) "finds the right prospects, researches what matters to them, crafts relevant messaging, and sends outreach in your voice". You pick a play: "people engaging with your content, companies hiring, a competitor's audience, or your own list". Its homepage lists the jobs it takes over: list building, profile viewers, post engagement and company signals, then ICP scoring, qualification, contact enrichment and research on each prospect, and sequences with follow-ups. For ICP scoring and qualification, the tool it names as the one it replaces is Clay. Every plan includes a unified inbox and CRM, API and MCP integrations.

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** Starter at $199 per seat a month (LinkedIn, with email as a paid add-on), or $149 billed quarterly; Plus at $299 (email included, 1,000 emails a month and email waterfall enrichment across 15+ providers); Growth at $499 (adds $300 of credits a month). The 7-day trial asks for a payment method. Prices were "updated 19 Oct 2026", according to the page.

**Best for:** a seller who wants each message researched and written for them, and who can justify the price per seat.

**Limits:** **$199 per seat is the highest entry price on this list**, and email costs extra on Starter; it is included from Plus at $299.

## 4. Lusha

![Lusha pricing on November 3, 2026, monthly billing: Starter at $49.90, Pro at $69.90 and Premium at $399.90](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/lusha-pricing.webp)

[Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) is a contact database with "515M+ verified contacts, 29M+ companies and 26 dated buying signal types", according to its [facts page](https://www.lusha.com/ai-assistants/), updated October 25, 2026. Its signals include job changes and promotions, funding, leadership changes and "LinkedIn activity intent"; its scoring adds an "ICP Fit Score" and lookalikes. The Chrome extension "Reveals contacts on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and company sites" on every plan. An email costs 1 credit and a phone 5; from Pro, a data waterfall fills the gaps where Lusha has no match. On data sources, the same page says "Lusha does not scrape professional networks or social platforms".

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** Free with 40 credits a month and no card, Starter at $49.90 a month (400 credits), Pro at $69.90 (600 credits, 2 seats, signals and API) and Premium at $399.90 (3,400 credits, 5 seats), or 25% less billed yearly. Credits roll over up to twice the monthly amount from Pro.

**Best for:** reps who prospect on LinkedIn by hand and want the email and the mobile number of the profile they are looking at.

**Limits:** no LinkedIn outreach (its outreach is automated email sequences), and 400 credits a month is about 80 phone numbers.

## 5. Apollo.io

![Apollo pricing on November 3, 2026, monthly billing: Free, Basic at $65 and Professional at $99 per seat a month](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/apollo-pricing.webp)

[Apollo.io](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) is the tool every one of the eight ranking pages names. It holds "240M+ contacts and 30M+ accounts", and each seat combines search, enrichment, intent topics, website visitor identification, "AI Research" and email sequences. From Basic, it adds waterfall enrichment, CRM integrations and automated CRM enrichment. An email costs 1 credit, a phone number 8, and an AI research run 1. Its pricing page names LinkedIn among its integrations but lists no automated steps there in its sequences.

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** Free with 75 credits per seat a month and 2 sequences; Basic at $65 per seat a month (2,500 credits); Professional at $99 (4,000 credits, AI lead scoring); Organization at $119 per seat billed yearly, 3 seats minimum. Yearly billing takes about 24% off. Credits "do not roll over if unused". 14-day trial on Basic and Professional.

**Best for:** a team that wants the contact data and the email sequence in one subscription, and does its LinkedIn steps by hand.

**Limits:** credits are per seat and expire each month, and a team that wants automated invitations still adds a sender.

## 6. Sendable

![Ten people collected by a Sendable signal: six matched and four not matched, each with the reason for the verdict](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/lead-generation-tools/new-finance-leaders-verdicts.webp)

This is the product I am building. Read this entry with that in mind, and judge it with a trial rather than on my word.

[Sendable, signal-based LinkedIn outreach](https://getsendable.io/) does the LinkedIn half of a Clay workflow in one tool, as checked in its code on November 3, 2026:

- **14 signals find the people.** Job postings, [changed jobs](https://getsendable.io/linkedin-job-change-alerts) (a new role in the last 90 days), active on LinkedIn, post interactions, a keyword tracker, influencer and company engagement (people engaging with posts from profiles or competitor pages you pick), poll voters, [profile viewers](https://getsendable.io/linkedin-profile-viewers), profile and [company followers](https://getsendable.io/linkedin-company-followers), newsletter subscribers, event attendees, first-degree connections and people you may know. A CSV of LinkedIn profiles works too.
- **An AI qualifies each person.** It [checks the profile against your ideal customer](https://getsendable.io/ai-lead-qualification) (job title, seniority, company size, sector, location, language, time in the position) and writes one sentence on why the person matches or not. When you reject a lead, you say why, and the signal remembers up to 20 rules for the next ones.
- **A sequence you write contacts them.** Visits, invitations, likes, messages with variables, a condition on acceptance, withdrawal of unanswered invitations and A/B tests, from your account, within your days, hours and daily limits (30 invitations a day by default). A reply stops the sequence.

The [keyword tracker](https://getsendable.io/resources/linkedin-keyword-tracker) and [job post tracker](https://getsendable.io/resources/linkedin-job-post-tracker) guides show two signals end to end.

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** €59 a month per connected account (about $66), or €590 a year, with no tiers. Each account includes 500 credits a month, **one credit per person who matches your ideal customer; rejections are free**. A team runs up to 5 signals at once. A list you import straight into a campaign, such as a Clay export, uses no credits. The 7-day trial needs a card and charges nothing before it ends; it includes 20 credits, one account and 3 signals. Every plan detail is on the [pricing page](https://getsendable.io/pricing).

**Best for:** founders and small B2B teams who used Clay mainly to decide who to contact on LinkedIn, and who want the people found, checked and contacted in one place.

**Limits:** no waterfall enrichment, no web research and no email. The full list is [below](#where-sendable-falls-short-against-clay).

[Start a 7-day free trial of Sendable](https://app.getsendable.io/signup-free)
## 7. Hunter

![Hunter pricing on November 3, 2026, monthly billing: Free, Starter at $49, Growth at $149 and Scale at $299 a month](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/hunter-pricing.webp)

[Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing) finds and verifies work emails, and sends cold email. Discover searches a B2B database with filters, an AI assistant helps you search, and Signals watch "your existing leads" (10 a month on Free, 20 on Starter, 200 on Growth). An email found costs 1 credit and a verification half a credit; "If the email address can't be found, it's free." It says it has "7 million + users".

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** Free with 50 credits a month, Starter at $49 a month (2,000 credits, 3 email accounts), Growth at $149 (10,000 credits) and Scale at $299 (25,000 credits), or 30% less billed yearly. Every plan has unlimited users.

**Best for:** a small team that mostly needs work emails for cold email.

**Limits:** no phone numbers, no LinkedIn data or outreach, and its signals only cover leads you already have.

## 8. FullEnrich

![FullEnrich pricing on November 3, 2026: free trial with 50 credits, Pro from $29 a month, $55 for 1,000 credits](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/clay-alternatives/fullenrich-pricing.webp)

[FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) does one Clay job: the waterfall for contact data. It searches "25+ data sources" in turn for work emails, personal emails and mobile phones, verifies them, and charges only for what it finds: "Only Pay For Data You Actually Find." A work email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a mobile phone 10. Its own estimate of email coverage is "~80% on average for emails; varies by region and seniority", close to the figure Clay gives for its waterfall. It also searches 800 million people and 50 million companies with filters, and connects to CRMs, an API and an MCP server.

**Price (checked November 3, 2026):** a free trial with 50 credits and no card, then Pro from $29 a month for 500 credits, $55 for 1,000, with about 10% off yearly. Credits roll over 3 months on monthly billing, 12 on yearly. Unlimited users.

**Best for:** teams that only need emails and phone numbers, and want to pay for each one found.

**Limits:** no signals, no AI research and no outreach: you bring the list and the sender.

## What Sendable replaces in Clay, and what it does not

Here is the line, job by job, as checked in Sendable's code on November 3, 2026. **Sendable replaces three Clay jobs for LinkedIn prospecting: finding people from signals, qualifying them by AI, and contacting them.** It does not replace the data workshop.

| Clay job | In Sendable |
| ------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Find people from LinkedIn signals | **Yes.** 14 signals, from job changes and job postings to engagement on competitor posts, plus a CSV of profiles |
| Search people by filters | **Partly.** Changed jobs and Active on LinkedIn search LinkedIn with your ideal customer filters every 7 days, up to 1,000 people per search. No company database, account lists, funding or tech filters |
| Research or qualify each row with AI | **Partly.** An AI judges each person against your ideal customer and your saved rules, and writes the reason. No free-form prompts, no web research, no custom AI columns |
| Waterfall for emails and phones | **No.** A "Find email or phone" step runs on your own FullEnrich account, paid to FullEnrich |
| CRM sync | **Partly.** Leads, their status and their LinkedIn activity sync to HubSpot or Attio. No outside data is added to the records already in your CRM |
| Email sequences | **No.** LinkedIn only |
| LinkedIn invitations and messages | **Yes**, which Clay does not do |
| HTTP API, webhooks, data warehouse | **No.** An MCP server for AI assistants such as Claude, CSV exports and Slack alerts |
| Web intent, website visitors, ad audiences | **No** |

If your workflow ends with "push to HeyReach", Sendable can replace the whole chain. If it ends with "update Salesforce" or "send to the email sequencer", it replaces only the LinkedIn branch, and your data tool stays for the rest.

## What it costs to go from a LinkedIn signal to a sent message

Clay's price is only half of the stack, because the sender is a second bill. Here is what one person with one LinkedIn account pays a month, on monthly billing, to find people and contact them, with HeyReach as the sender where the tool does not send ($79 per sender, [its pricing page](https://www.heyreach.io/pricing), November 3, 2026).

| Setup | Monthly price | What the price includes |
| ------------------------ | ----------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Clay Launch + HeyReach | $264 | 15,000 actions, 2,500 data credits, one sender |
| Clay Growth + HeyReach | $574 | Adds CRM sync, web intent and HTTP API |
| Apollo Basic + HeyReach | $144 | 2,500 credits, email sequences, one sender |
| Lusha Starter + HeyReach | $128.90 | 400 credits, one sender |
| PhantomBuster Start | $69 | 5 automations at a time, 20 hours of execution, 500 email credits |
| Sendable | €59 (about $66) | 500 qualified people, 5 live signals, the sequence |
| Gojiberry Pro | $99 | 2 accounts, up to 1,800 prospects contacted |
| Valley Starter | $199 | One seat, LinkedIn only |

Read the first two lines honestly: **those prices do not buy the same work.** Launch's 2,500 data credits and 15,000 actions enrich, research and route rows across 150+ providers, emails and phones included; Sendable's 500 credits pay for 500 people who passed your ideal customer check, with no email. The comparison is useful only if LinkedIn is where you contact people. If email is your main channel, Apollo, Hunter or Clay's own sequencer is the cheaper path.

## How to move a Clay workflow to another tool

The same five steps work whatever you pick. Move one workflow first, run it for a week next to the old one, then switch the rest.

1. **Export your tables as CSV files** before you cancel: the people, their LinkedIn URLs, and every column you use in messages, such as a Claygent summary or a personalized first line.
2. **Write down each table's logic**: the search filters, the enrichments in order, the Claygent prompts and the conditions. That list becomes the ideal customer and the rules of the new tool.
3. **Rebuild the trigger, not the table.** A job change or social signal from your tables becomes a signal in the new tool: changed jobs, keyword tracker or company engagement in Sendable, a play in Valley, a Phantom in PhantomBuster.
4. **Import the people you already contacted as exclusions**, so nobody gets a second first message. In Sendable, paste them into the team blacklist, and turn on the signal exclusions for previously contacted people and inbox contacts.
5. **Import the lists you want to keep working straight into a campaign.** In Sendable, a CSV import into a campaign maps each column to a custom field, which your messages can use as a variable, and uses no credits.

![The CSV import in Sendable, a Clay alternative for LinkedIn lists: profile links checked against your filters](https://getsendable.io/images/resources/trigify-alternatives/csv-import.webp)

The second CSV route in Sendable is the CSV import signal, shown above: it takes one column of LinkedIn profile links and checks each person against your ideal customer, at one credit per match, which is useful when an export was never qualified.

## How to choose a Clay alternative

Sort yourself into one of these situations.

**You used Clay to decide who to contact on LinkedIn, then pushed them to a sender.** One tool can do both. PhantomBuster if you want to build the workflow, Gojiberry or Valley if an AI agent should write the messages, Sendable if you write the sequence and want a reason behind every lead.

**You only needed emails and phone numbers.** FullEnrich for the waterfall alone, paid per result; Lusha if you want them while browsing LinkedIn; Hunter for work emails and cold email on a small budget.

**You want a contact database and email sequences in one subscription.** Apollo, with a free plan to start. The [lead generation tools](https://getsendable.io/resources/lead-generation-tools) comparison covers the other databases.

**You run custom waterfalls, Claygent research, CRM enrichment and HTTP calls across many providers.** Stay where you are: no tool on this page replaces that, and the [section below](#when-to-stay-with-clay) says why.

**Choose none of these if** you want someone else to run the outreach: an outbound agency or a done-for-you service fits better than another tool. Sendable has one too, and its [case studies](https://getsendable.io/case-studies) show the results of four clients.

Every tool here that sends messages for you carries the same risk. LinkedIn's help page on [prohibited software](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387) says it does not "permit the use of any third party software, including "crawlers", bots, browser plug-ins, or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn's website", and that members who use them "risk having their accounts restricted or shut down." What lowers that risk: low daily volumes, a reviewed audience and messages a person would send. The [account safety guide](https://getsendable.io/resources/is-linkedin-automation-safe) explains each one.

## Where Sendable falls short against Clay

The limits that matter if you leave Clay, in my own words:

- **No waterfall enrichment.** Sendable has no data marketplace. Emails and phones come only from a "Find email or phone" step on your own FullEnrich account, with its own bill.
- **No free-form AI research.** The AI answers one question, does this person fit your ideal customer, and writes why. It does not browse company websites, summarize news or fill custom columns the way Claygent does.
- **LinkedIn people only.** No company database, no account lists, no funding, tech stack or web intent data, and the filter searches stop at 1,000 people.
- **No email, no public API.** No email step, no REST API, no webhooks, no Zapier or Make. Sendable has an MCP server for AI assistants, CSV exports, Slack alerts and CRM sync with HubSpot and Attio.
- **Priced per account.** Clay's seats are unlimited; in Sendable every connected LinkedIn account costs €59, and a team runs 5 signals at once.

## When to stay with Clay

Stay with Clay if your workflow is more than LinkedIn prospecting: enrichment from many providers in one waterfall, Claygent research on each account, CRM hygiene, HTTP calls to your own systems, and email or ad audiences at the end. For that job, **150+ providers in one table, with unlimited seats**, is what you would give up, and none of the eight tools here offers it.

It is also the better pick when:

- someone on your team already builds and maintains the tables;
- your usage fits Launch's 15,000 actions and 2,500 data credits, so the bill is predictable;
- you need CRM enrichment and web intent, which the $495 Growth plan covers;
- your sender is already paid for and working.

If those describe you, a second tool for the LinkedIn half, fed by your tables, costs less to set up than leaving.

## Our verdict: which Clay alternative fits which job

- **LinkedIn signals, AI scoring and sending, built your way:** PhantomBuster, from $69 a month.
- **An AI agent that finds, writes and sends for one or two accounts:** Gojiberry, $99 a month.
- **Researched, AI-written LinkedIn outreach:** Valley, $199 per seat.
- **Emails and phones while you browse profiles:** Lusha, from $49.90.
- **Contact data and email sequences in one subscription:** Apollo.io, $65 per seat, or free to start.
- **Prospects found from LinkedIn signals and qualified with a written reason, in a sequence you write:** Sendable, €59 per account.
- **Work emails and cold email on a small budget:** Hunter, $49.
- **Emails and phones only, paid when found:** FullEnrich, from $29.
- **Custom waterfalls, Claygent research and CRM enrichment:** stay with Clay.

Whichever you pick, run the trial on one workflow you already know, with the same audience, and compare the replies, not the number of rows.

## Tools on other lists that are not ranked here

- **Cognism and ZoomInfo**: named by six and four of the eight pages, but neither publishes a price.
- **Databar and Freckle**: Clay-style tables, from $99 a month each on their pricing pages, named by one and two of the eight pages.
- **Persana AI**: a Clay-style table with AI agents; its site announces it is "joining forces with Rox", so check what that means for your plan before you commit.
- **Sales Navigator**: LinkedIn's own search, from $119.99 a month (Core). It pairs with any tool on this page rather than replacing Clay; see [whether Sales Navigator is worth it](https://getsendable.io/resources/is-sales-navigator-worth-it).
- **Seamless.AI (three pages), Breeze Intelligence (two), and lemlist, Closely, Expandi and Smartlead (one each)**: named by fewer than four of the eight pages, and none of their vendors wrote one of them.

## FAQ

### What is the best Clay alternative for LinkedIn prospecting?

It depends on the job you replace. To find and contact LinkedIn prospects from one tool: PhantomBuster ($69) to build your own workflows, Gojiberry ($99) or Valley ($199) for an AI agent that writes, Sendable (€59 per account) to write the sequence yourself with every lead qualified by AI. For contact data, Lusha or Apollo. I build Sendable, so test it yourself.

### How much does Clay cost in 2026?

On November 3, 2026, its pricing page lists Free ($0, 500 actions and 100 data credits a month), Launch ($185 a month, 15,000 actions and 2,500 data credits), Growth ($495, 40,000 actions and 6,000 data credits) and Enterprise on quote. Yearly billing takes 10% off: $167 and $446. Extra data credits cost a 30% premium.

### Does Clay send LinkedIn messages?

No. It builds and enriches the list, then adds the leads to a campaign in a sending tool such as HeyReach; its own guide says "Campaigns cannot be created from within Clay." It sends email through its sequencer and pushes ad audiences to LinkedIn on Growth, but no invitation or message.

### Is there a free Clay alternative?

For data, yes, with small allowances: Apollo gives 75 credits per seat a month, Hunter 50, Lusha 40, and FullEnrich 50 credits once. Clay itself has a free plan with 100 data credits a month. For the people who commented on one LinkedIn post, Sendable's free [LinkedIn comment exporter](https://getsendable.io/tools/linkedin-comment-exporter) exports them to CSV with no login. Every tool here that sends on LinkedIn sells a paid plan with a trial, so none is free for ongoing outreach.

### Is Apollo cheaper than Clay?

For one person, yes: Apollo Basic costs $65 a seat a month with 2,500 credits, against $185 for Clay Launch. Clay gets cheaper per person as the team grows, since its seats are unlimited while Apollo bills each seat, and it searches 150+ providers in a waterfall, where Apollo starts from its own database.

### Can Sendable replace Clay?

For the LinkedIn half, yes: Sendable finds people from 14 signals, qualifies each one by AI with a reason, and contacts them in a sequence, which Clay does not do. It does not replace the waterfall enrichment, Claygent web research, CRM enrichment, email sequences or HTTP calls.

### Can I move my Clay tables to another tool?

Export each table as a CSV file, with the LinkedIn URLs and the columns your messages use. In Sendable, import it straight into a campaign and map each column to a custom field for your messages, with no credits used, or into a CSV signal to have each person checked against your ideal customer first.
